  • Jim, I am 40 percent disabled from service related injuries. That percentage is deducted from my military retiremnect check. Someone in all their wisdom came up with a percentage of 50 percent or higher and it would not afffect your retirement.

  • We entered into an argeement with our government to give them 20 years of our life, and possibly our life, for certain benefits. we kept our end of the deal and they need to keep theirs. Everyone has or had the same opportunity to join the military.

  •  I served my country and retired after 20 years. I did this in part because of the retirement benefits and love of this country. We have gone without cost of living increases and now the president wants to charge more for what I earned.

  • We can only hope that, when Obama rolls into town, he doesn't have ACORN on his skirt tails with a huge supply of cigarettes and dollar bills to get out more voters. Are there any Black Panthers in MA to intimidate the voters?

  • Is it Obama's duty to run this country or jet off to wherever a fellow democrat is in trouble? Maybe he should become a campaign manager and leave the oval office for the big boys. Between vacations, campaigning and a night on the town he has done nothing for this country.
